  • "A" has some useful insider information (of course we don't condone spam or threatening email):
    Had a few silent calls from LBM. Quite amused as I am a former Carphone Warehouse Marketing dept employee, we had a few problems a few years ago with companies buying lists of recently sold numbers from employees and then cold calling customers. Looks like CPW are now  'cutting out the middleman' so to speak.

    Anyway, the man responsible at LBM for Marketing Strategy would be Mr Andrew Colwell - andrewc -at- lbm.co.uk

    I suggest you stick his name and email on the site and encourage people to spam him.... a taste of his own medicine. 


  • "E" has some luck with LBM's Compliance Officer:
    Thank you so much.

    I have been a target of LBM, both silent calls and some professing to be in conjunction with LloydsTSB, for the past couple of weeks. A Google search, last night, lead me to your site. I followed your advice, registered my Ex-Directory number with TPs and also sent an e-mail to LBM, requesting a "Read Receipt". My email was brief and to the point <quote> My number is registered with TPS and if I receive anymore calls from you I shall be informing all relevant agencies and the Police. <unquote>
